Find Out Where You Can Experience the Call

Before leaving on your Team trip:

AGWM recommends each traveler utilize the links below relating to travel safety, immunizations, online security training, visas, etc.
  1. It is very important that you take measures to guard yourself against the potential health risks that come with traveling in some countries. Immunizations are recommended, and in many cases required, for particular destinations. Click here for immunization information.

  2. AGWM leadership recommends all individuals involved in short term work to prepare for the elevated risk of travel abroad by completing a brief online training here. This important step in your preparation process is designed to be completed individually. The $30 enrollment fee gives you access to information that will increase your awareness of the unique challenges you may encounter through the course of your journey, providing safety and security tips and tools designed to protect you, your teammates and those you are called to serve.

  3. Pack! To avoid COSTLY FINES and POSSIBLE IMPRISONMENT, please read the U.S. Department of Homeland Security/Transportation Security Administration list of PROHIBITED ITEMS for airline travel. Also, check with your airline for any restrictions they may have.

  4. For Visa and Safety information specific to your country, please visit the U.S. State Department Bureau of Consular Affairs website. This website will give you information on entry/exit requirements, safety and security, crime, medical facilities and health information, traffic safety, and embassy locations. This information is very important to know when you are travelling internationally.
