Addiction Recovery Coordinator

Hola Hope is looking for a team player that has a heart to disciple and grow, helping us to continue to transform lives through small group initiatives that serve those who struggle with life-controlling issues. This individual or couple will work directly alongside one of Hola Hope's Founders to continue to establish and grow this ministry within our region.  

We are looking for the right individual that can help us continue to equip communities with the essential tools for small group training and discipleship curriculums. A person interested in this position must have a heart to work beside and empower those individuals to prevent and overcome life-controlling issues while fostering positive change. The leader will be responsible for leading small group studies throughout the week in partnership with different national churches and villages. The perfect person for this position must have a heart to teach and a basic understanding of what it's like for people in addiction recovery.

This position includes duties, such as preparing weekly lessons and creating safe spaces for individuals to share and grow. This person must be willing to travel as well as complete the online training provided to be certified to teach the approved programs.    

Requirements:

• familiar with small group studies
• a pastoral heart
• flexibility and comfortable with routinely shifting demands
• willingness to complete online trainings
• strong communication skills

Desired, but not needed:

• clerical experience
• working knowledge of general office equipment
• speaks Spanish (if interested in serving for under a year, the ability to speak Spanish is a requirement)
