Opportunity #3094

Trips (up to 90 days)

MAPS Worker (90 days-11 months)

Type: Administrative, Church and Outreach, Church Planting, Evangelism, Internship, Secretarial, Office, Administration and Clerical, Technical (Computer, Graphics, Web, Sound), Writing, Editing and Translating, and Youth Ministry

Join an experienced missionary in Santo Domingo, where you’ll provide vital administrative support during the weekdays and volunteer with Next Gen ministry on weekends and some evenings. Your role will include tasks such as correspondence, writing and designing newsletters, financial reporting, and assisting with the growth and coordination of our junior high and high school programs. On weekends, you'll lead life groups, engage in sports ministry, facilitate connection activities, and participate in prayer ministry. This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact while developing your skills in both administration and ministry.

Spanish is not required, though it would be a great asset. Our Next Gen ministry is closely linked with the local church plant's evangelism and discipleship efforts, providing a unique opportunity to be part of a thriving community. Strong writing skills (grammar, punctuation, spelling) are essential for crafting clear and engaging communications.

This is a great opportunity to use your skills in a meaningful way while experiencing the rich culture and ministry opportunities in the Dominican Republic. Ready to serve and grow? We look forward to hearing from you!
