Elementary Teacher for School in Urban Slums

GUAYAQUIL, ECUADOR: At “A Place of Hope” we believe that if we impact children today, we can change Ecuador tomorrow! In 2021, we opened an Christian elementary school in the middle of the urban slums of Guayaquil. There is no school like this for miles in our community. Our goal is to provide a high quality education to the most marginalized of the city.

We are seeking to add people to our team who are passionate about children and teaching. This person would assist in teaching English as a foreign language, and providing assistance in preschool and elementary classrooms.

Among our “Place of Hope” ministries there are also other opportunities for serving in children’s ministry, worship, church planting, compassion, and discipleship.

Spanish language is helpful but not necessary. Some college or college degree is preferred. But the only requirements are a servants heart and a passion for reaching the next generation for Jesus. (Minimum 3 months)
