Live Dead Church Planter - Maldives

The Maldives is known as paradise to resort-bound tourists, however, locals live a very different life under the suffocating weight of oppressive religion, where following any belief other than Islam is forbidden.  As the last country on earth with no Bible and no Church, the people live and die without access to the good news.  Many islanders have moved to nearby Sri Lanka for education or work, but even more so to experience some level of freedom.  It is within this community in Sri Lanka that our team is based.  We focus on abiding daily in Christ, then spending time with these unreached friends as we learn language & culture.  Over shared meals, laughs and life together we share the gospel & plant the church!  Legitimate businesses that meet a need, provide visas and allow greater interaction with people is one way we make disciples.  Some of these businesses will spread to the hundreds of unreached islands across our region, providing visas for many workers & access to many seekers.  If you have a heart for the unreached, a love for adventure, and a desire to serve Jesus with a team of friends, we have a place for you!
