Podcast & Research Assistants (Internships)

Start date: Summer 2024 — 6-week intensive/internship

Trauma tends to be an uncomfortable and taboo subject—especially sexual trauma. Do you want to influence how, when, and where we talk about trauma? Intern with us! This internship includes time in Springfield, MO, and one other country (our overseas designation changes from year to year).

Interns research a particular aspect of sexual trauma and create a teaching/presentation on the chosen aspect. During our time overseas, the intern will use their presentation to participate in sessions with global workers and our host country partners.

The Let’s Talk Trauma team produces a bi-monthly podcast on sexual trauma; global workers and host country partners gather for a live Zoom podcast recording. Interns will be able to develop episodes of the Let’s Talk Trauma podcast.
