Associate Pastor, Worship Leader, Children's Minister, Maps Teams for VBS

Naples: The city of Napoli (Naples) is very diverse; there are tens of thousands of English-speaking immigrants living and working there. There are also over 10,000 U.S. service personnel stationed in Napoli needing a church. Many English-speaking Italians are looking for an English-language church to attend. The people in Napoli are hungry for Jesus, and currently, there is no Evangelical English-speaking church within the city limits.

Speaking Italian is optional since the church is in English, but we encourage you to learn some of the language while you are here. You do not need ministry credentials, but you must agree with our doctrinal positions. Since we want to hand the church over to local leadership eventually, training an Italian resident to be your replacement is an essential part of these positions. 

Ministry Positions Needed

Worship Leader –

We are looking for an experienced song leader/musician who has a call to come to Europe and lead worship in a new International church plant in Napoli. We want our congregation to have vibrant, anointed worship services that will include some of the modern choruses that we all love, as well as some hymns, perhaps with a more contemporary sound. You should have a musical background and skills on the keyboard and or guitar. You should have experience and skills in raising up a worship team and leaders. This position would be for one to two years.

Children's Minister – We are looking for an experienced children's church worker who has a call to come to Europe to minister to children in a new International church plant in Napoli. We want to provide our church family with an exciting, relevant children's ministry that will teach them the Word of God in a fun and energetic way. Ministry would include our Sunday services and special events, like our annual Vacation Bible Schools. We also have English as a Second Language in our VBS's, as well as an ESL after-school program. So, experience teaching children, especially in a church setting, is a must. This position would be for one to two years.

Associate Pastor – We are looking for an experienced Associate Pastor who has a call to come to Europe to support our new International church plant in Napoli. Some of the responsibilities of the Associate Pastor would be to share the preaching on Sundays, teach from time to time during Sunday school and Wednesday night services, lead evangelism teams, and be involved in any special events hosted by the church. NOTE: This position does require credentials with the Assemblies of God. This position would be for one to two years.

MAPS Teams – We are looking for short-term volunteers with a call to come to Napoli to help run our Vacation Bible Schools (VBS's) during the summer of 2024 at our new International church plant. Both church teams and individual workers are needed to host a series of VBS's throughout the city. Teams should include from 6 to 12 volunteers who will lead and teach the VBS classes as well as teach our afternoon English language classes. Teams would come for one or two weeks of ministry. 

MAPS - Individuals We are looking for someone who would commit to coming for one to three months or longer to help us plan, prepare, and implement the VBS's. We do several each year, requiring a lot of attention to detail. Experienced VBS workers are a must.
